September 24, 1972: Region XI (Southern Mindanao) reated from Davao del NorteDavao del SurDavao OrientalNorth Cotabato and South Cotabato with Davao City as the regional centre, by Presidential Decree No. 1 as part of the Integrated Reorganisation Plan.
July 7, 1975MaguindanaoNorth Cotabatoand Sultan Kudarat removed from Region XI and, Surigao del Sur transferred into Region XI by Presidential Decree No. 742.
October 12, 1990South Cotabato removed from Region XI by Executive Order No. 429, but not executed.
February 23, 1995Surigao del Sur removed from Region XI and Sultan Kudarat transferred into Region XI by Republic Act No. 7901.
December 10, 1998Sultan Kudarat removed from Region XI by Republic Act No. 8744.
September 19, 2001Sarangani and South Cotabato removed from Region XI and, Region XI renamed Region XI (Davao Region) by Executive Order No. 36.

1.       The NATIONAL STATISTICS OFFICE (NSO), through the General Appropriations Act of FY 2010 (RA 9970),  intends to apply the sum of ONE MILLION FIVE HUNDRED FIFTY TWO THOUSAND PESOS ONLY (Php1, 552, 500.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments for the hereunder project, and the ABC distributed as follows:

2.       Bidders shall have the option of submitting a proposal on any lot or all lots.  If the Bidder opts to bid for the two lots, only one Eligibility Requirements shall be submitted.  Evaluation and award of contract will be undertaken on per lot basis; however, for bidder that bids to more than one (1) lot and determined to have the lowest bid per lot shall be awarded with only one (1) contract. Bids received in excess of the ABC per lot shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.

3.       Bidders should have completed, within the last three years prior to the deadline for the submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the Project equivalent to at least twenty-five percent (25%) of the ABC per lot. The description of an Eligible Bidder is contained in Section II of the Bidding Documents, Instruction to Bidders (ITB).

4.       Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary pass/fail criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of RA 9184, otherwise known as the "Government Procurement Reform Act”. Bidding is open to all interested Bidders subject to the conditions for eligibility provided in the IRR of RA 9184.

5.       Interested Bidders may obtain further information from the RBAC Secretariat at tel. no.(082) 221 8338, and inspect the Bidding Documents at 2/F Ango Bldg, J.P. Cabaguio Ave., Davao City starting March 8, 2010 anytime from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.  The Bidding Documents may also be downloaded free of charge at PhilGEPS and Only those Bidders who shall pay the nonrefundable fee for the Bidding Documents can participate in the bidding.

6.       The NSO reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Bidder or Bidders.
